A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by Mr. William Mayo Jr. to install replacement windows on the 2nd and 3rd stories at the rear of the building located at 127 West Main Street. The replacement windows are vinyl-wood windows.

2. A request has been made by Mr. Michael Dunn, acting as agent for the First Christian Church, to construct a new addition to provide a family life center, new kitchen, and classrooms. The new addition will also provide an elevator and new entranceway. The exterior architecture was designed to blend with the historic existing facility.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the First Baptist Church to replace 5 dead dogwood trees with either new dogwoods or crepe myrtles.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Oasis Hair Salon to add a 5 ton heat pump to the rear of the building located at 106 West Main Street.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Timothy Evans to install a generator at the rear of the building located at 120 Bridge Street.

4. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Ms. Gayle Morgan to install a new gas furnace and 4-ton condenser at the rear of the building located at 133 West Main Street.
