A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by The City of Washington Parks & Recreation for a Certificate of Appropriateness to replace 3 entrance doors to match the North Entrance door on the structure located at 310 West Main Street (Senior Center).

2. A request has been made by Ms. Karen Sairanen for a Certificate of Appropriateness to add 14” flat panel shutters & shutters dogs on the upper and lower windows on the structure located 401 North Market Street.

3. A request has been made by Mr. Ford Freeman for a Certificate of Appropriateness to remove and replace existing tin roof on the rear with appropriate architectural shingles on the structure located at 427 East 2nd Street.

4. A request has been made by Mr. Jimmy Hughes for a Certificate of Appropriateness to construct a sunroom on the left rear corner of the house located at 501 West Main Street.

5. A request has been made by Mr. Tom Howard for a Certificate of Appropriateness to demolish the structure located at 132-134 Water Street.

6. A request has been made by Mr. Jay M. Hodges for a Certificate of Appropriateness to demolish the structure located at 156 Water Street.

7. A request has been made by Mr. Zane Buckman, registered agent for the Buoy Tender Station Development, for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Phase 2 & 3 of the COA Process. This includes but is not limited to exterior materials, porches, windows & doors, roof, lighting, landscaping and site plan. The property is located at 419 West Main Street.

8. A request has been made by Mr. Zane Buckman, registered agent for the Buoy Tender Station Development, for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the construction of a ten (10) slip marina located on the property at 419 West Main Street.

9. A request has been made by Moss Property Partners for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the Moss Landing Development. The request is for the conceptual design of the development. This includes but is not limited to the preliminary site plan, concept, mass & scale, size, orientation, and architectural style. The property is located on Water Street.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Ms. Sadie Fowle to add a small brick retaining wall on the west side of the property to match the existing walls on the property located at 722 West Main Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Kevin Duffy to remove a non-original extension at the rear of the structure located at 513 East 2nd Street. The extension is rotten and in danger of falling. Any replacement of the extension will be presented to the Commission.
