IV. Old Business – Major Works

A. A request has been made by the City of Washington to demolish the structure located at 324 Water Street. The house has been condemned by the City Building Inspections Office and proper notification has been given to the property owner.

V. New Business

A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by Mr. Hal Woolard, acting as agent for Mr. Ross Hamory, to construct a 3-car garage on the rear of the property located at 226 East Main Street.

2. A request has been made by Mr. Timothy McCaffrey to construct a work shop/storage building on the rear of the property located at 619 East Main Street.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Leonard Van Cura to remove a dilapidated and rotten shed at the rear of the property located at 226 North Bonner Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Chris Collier to repair the rotten wood on 2 columns on the front porch of the residence located at 627 West 2nd Street.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Ms. Bianca Gentile to install a 3’ x 3.5’ wooden sign on the structure located at 110 West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

4. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Damon Walcott to locate a 8’ x 8’ wooden storage building on the rear of the property located at 239 East 2nd Street.
