A. A request has been made by Mr. Trey Howdy to construct a porch or deck on the front side of the house facing the river at 326 Water Street.

V. New Business

A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by the Blind Center to install a covered walkway between their two buildings located at 217 & 219 North Harvey Street. The project is to help ensure adequate safety for the blind

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Ms. Peggy Hope to install a 3 ton AC unit upstairs at the rear of the structure located at 725 West 2nd Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Kit Yeung to (1) repair the rotten windows with wood windows of the same style, (2) replace porch railings with like material, (3) repair siding, (4) repair garage at the structure located at 509 East 2nd Street.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Ms. Karen Sairanen to construct a 3' x 5' wooden in front of the structure located at 401 North Market Street.

4. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Blaine Williams to replace the wrought iron columns with wood columns to match the original structure located at 737 West 2nd Street.

5. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Gil Davis to repair the front and rear porches with like material, repair the windows and repair the siding on the structure located at 735 West 2nd Street.
