A. Review landscaping plan for the new addition at St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 101 North Bonner Street.

B. A request has been made by Mr. Stuart Dudley of Dudley Landscaping, acting as agent for Beaufort County, to remove a large oak tree located at the front of the property located at 132 North Market Street. Mr. Dudley states the tree is in a state of decline and should be removed.

V. New Business

A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by Mr. Michael Overton to remove the existing rotten shed in the rear of the property and replace it with a 23’ x 28’ garage located at 400 East Main Street. The shed is not original to the property.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the First Presbyterian Church to place a 3’ x 30” wooden sign located on the corner of the property at 211 West 2nd Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Ms. Kay Nicholls to repair the roof on the structure located at 119 North Bonner Street.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Corey Heating and Air to replace the HVAC at the rear of the structure located at 701 West Main Street.

4. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Michael Overton to (1) landscape the front and rear yard, (2) add a six foot wooden privacy fence to east side of the property, (3) add a 4’ wooden picket fence to rear and west side of the property, (4) add a slate patio to rear of the house, and (5) repair the front porch (rails, columns, and decking) with like material at the structure located at 400 East Main Street.

5. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. Vance Jones to replace the existing heating system with a new 3 ton heat pump at the rear of the structure located at 107 East 2nd Street.

A. Status of the Petition to Appeal – 419 West Main Street
