A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by the City of Washington Parks & Recreation for a Certificate of Appropriateness to: (1) add a canvas canopy to the north entrance of the building, (2) to pour sidewalk from sidewalk to existing curb to concrete loose brick walkway, and (3) add handrails along walkway to match existing fence or porch on the property located at 310 West Main Street. (Peterson Building)

2. A request has been made by Mr. Phillip Kelly for a Certificate of Appropriateness to construct a 15’ x 15’ screen porch and a foundation, to accommodate a possible utility room in the future, on the rear of the structure located at 743 West 2nd Street.

3. A request has been made by City of Washington Electric Utilities for a Certificate of Appropriateness to remove a 42” rotten oak tree for safety purposes in front yard of the property located at 735 West Main Street.

4. A request has been made by Mr. Kevin Clancy, representing KARC Enterprises, for a Certificate of Appropriateness to convert a residential structure to an inpatient hospice care facility located at 121 East 2nd Street. This includes: (1) adding an addition to the rear of the structure, (2) creating a new accessory building in the rear yard, (3) adding new handicap ramps, (4) replacement of windows, and (5) various repairs and replacement projects.

5. A request has been made by Progress Partners for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Moss Landing Development. This request includes: (1) review of Master Site Plan for total project, (2) Phase I 3rd COA, which includes landscaping, lighting, walkways, and site amenities, and (3) Phase II 1st COA which includes review of building size, mass, scale, orientation, and architectural style.

6. A request has been made by Moss Property Partners for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the construction of a 90+ boat slip floating dock system marina located at Moss Landing Development.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Greg Ward to repair the rotten rear of the structure and replace the HVAC on the building located at 116-120 North Market Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Lydie Jennings to remove a rotten outbuilding, not original to property, due to safety concerns on the property located at 328 West Main Street.
