A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by Dal & Ginger Newbold to build a 12' x 20' storage building in the rear of the property located at 612 East Main Street. It is requested to use hardi-board plank as the exterior siding material.

2. A request has been made by Mr. Roy Beddard to construct an addition to an existing bathroom at the rear of the house using wood siding and approved windows. Also, to remove two trees at the front left side of the house damaged by severe pruning from power lines. They are a hazard to the front porch located at 326 North Market Street.

3. A request has been made by the City of Washington to demolish the structure located at 215-217 Fleming Street. The structure is a duplex that has been condemned by the City Building Inspections Office.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Melton Everett to extend an existing privacy fence to the back corner of the house located at 231 East Main Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for K.B. Dickerson to install a 2 ton gas pack on the side of the house located at 215 North Harvey Street.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Jim Spain (Beaufort County) to remove rotten trim board at the top of the building and replace with dark bronze trim located at 220 North Market Street.

4. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Hudson Signs for 30" letters to be used as a wall sign located at 133 West Main Street. (Designing With Cents)

5. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Whit Blackstone to replace a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood over the door in the alley with like material located at 108 S. Market Street.
