A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by the Education Committee of the First Presbyterian Church to replace a damaged and rotten wooden fence with a 4' high chain link fence located at the rear of the property located at 211 West Second Street.

2. A request has been made by Mark Gray to replace the rotten windows on the side of the building located at 151 & 153 West Main Street. In addition, a request has been made to replace the roll-up garage door located at 228 Stewart Parkway with brick for office space.

3. A request has been made by Steven Radar to replace screens on the back porch with storm windows on the residence located at 113 South Harvey Street.

4. A request has been made by Dan Cochran, acting as agent for Jay Wickham, to construct an addition of a second floor bedroom and bathroom on the residence located at 739 West Main Street. Roofing, siding, and trim are to match existing construction. Existing siding is vinyl.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Pamlico Provisions, Inc. to install lattice work to cover electric meters in front of the building located at 238 Stewart Parkway.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for K.B. Dickerson to remove shrubs on the west of the property located at 322 East Main Street and replace with a 69" vertical wood privacy fence.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for William Tiney Moore to repair and replace part of an existing chimney with brick to match existing brick located at 402 North Market Street.

4. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Nelson Pyle to install a rain gutter around the perimeter of the roof line located at 110 North Academy Street.

5. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Stephen and Claudia Roberson to install a 4' wood picket fence across the back yard and down one side to meet the neighbor's fence.

A. Temporary Facilities on Stewart Parkway.
