A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by Les Woolard, 118 & 120 North Academy Street, to replace masonite siding on the back addition of duplex using hardi-board.

2. A request has been made by Fred Fletcher of Washington Betterment Partners for approval for the conceptual design of the Pamlico River Inn and Conference Center located at 235 East Water Street.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Karen Hoover to replace the awnings on front of the store located at 221 West Main Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Mike Goltra to repair front facade of the building located at 186 West Main Street, according to the facade grant application.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Ronald Lilley to jack up corner of existing deck and redrill holes on the NC Estuarium located at 223 Water Street.

4. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Robin Banks (604 West 2nd Street) to replace "hole" that previously had an exterior door with wood window similar to those in the house. The "hole" is on the left back side of the house on the 2nd floor. The stairs to this door were gone prior to purchasing the house.

5. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Steven Rader (113 S. Harvey Street) to construct an arbor type gate in front of existing gate near southwest corner of property and construction of grape arbor over existing patio at rear of house.

6. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for James Baker to replace and repair existing tin roof with like materials on the structure located at 214 N. Bonner Street.

7. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Peter Oser to place a wood storage shed in the back yard of 245 E. 2nd Street. The shed will be used to store a lawn mower and other yard equipment.

8. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Nancy McCauley to remove large limbs from a damaged pecan tree in rear yard of the structure located at 418 East 2nd Street.

9. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for John Wickham, 739 West Main Street to remove existing pier and construct a new pier not to exceed 6' in width and 52' in length.

10. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Metropolitan Housing and CDC, Inc to add a handicap ramp to rear of structure located at 408 Market Street.
