A. Major Works, Certificate of Appropriateness

1. A request has been made by Lester Woolard to replace existing siding with hardi-board siding on the property located at 326 Water Street.

2. A request has been made by Jerry Smyre/Turnage Theater Foundation to remove and repair the front facades of the building located at 154 West Main Street.

3. A request has been made by Al Crisp to construct a new house located at 406 E. Water Street.

4. A request has been made by Walter Melton to apply vinyl siding on the house located at 729 West 2nd Street.

5. A request has been made by Fred Fletcher of Washington Betterment Partners for approval for the conceptual design of the Pamlico River Inn and Conference Center located at 235 East Water Street.

B. Minor Works

1. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Lydie Jennings to place new company name over company name existing on awning. Sign will be same style as Edward Jones awning. Union Alley will be on glass of store front located at 158 West Main Street.

2. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Harold Little to replace A/C condenser unit at 722 West Second Street.

3. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for John Powell - First Baptist Church located at 113 N. Harvey Street to trim and prune 3 Bradford Pear trees on the west side of the church building.

4.. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for T.R. Howie to repair siding with like material, replace roof, extend overhang on rear porch (6ft.) on the property located at 117 McNair Street.

5. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Charles Bowen to replace back wooden steps with same, replace existing shed roof with same and add stoop, under pinning and remove tree in back yard that is leaning onto another tree on the property located at 418 East Main Street.

6. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Charles Bowen to replace wooden fence with wooden fence located at 243 East Main Street.

7. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Wayne and RayAnne Waters to replace existing company sign with like material at the business located at 112 East Main Street - Renn Taff.

8. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for K.B. Dickerson to pour concrete drive at existing driveway and add landscaping at 322 East Main Street.

9. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Armstrong Ref. Heat/AC to add a 4 ton gas pack to the left rear of the house located at 224 East Water Street.

10. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Robert Gautier to replace a 3 ton gas pack (same location) at 528 East 2nd Street.

11. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for James Cutler to replace rotten exterior wood with like material at 230 East 3rd Street.

12. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Lester Woolard to install front right window (will match existing window) and install fence in rear yard of property located at 326 Water Street.

13. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Clarence Moore to replace missing bricks on the front steps located at 325 North Market Street.

14. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Intercoastal Mechanical to install a 3 ton condensing unit on right rear corner of house located at 705 W. 2nd Street (Mike Sloan).

15. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Erma Carter to replace roof with same material (asphalt shingles and tin roof on porch) on the building located at 201 East Main Street.

16. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Little's Heating and Air to add a 3 ton A/C to existing furnace and change out heat pump located at 206 E. 2nd Street (Sylvia Grant).

17. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Little's Heating and Air to change out 80,000 BTU gas furnace and 3 ton A/C at 602 E. Main Street (Elbert Banks).

18. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Steven Rader, 113 South Harvey Street to construct a wood gothic picket fence 3- feet in height to enclose fruit trees in side yard on south side of house with gate.

19. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Karen Hoover to install 3 signs on the building located at 221 W. Main Street. Two signs at the rear of the building and a window sign at the front of the building.

20. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Robert Martin to install a wooden wall sign at the rear of the building located at 225 W. Main Street.

21. A request has been made and approved by staff for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Judy Williams to install a wooden wall sign located on the rear of the building   located at 223 W. Main Street.
